Hey Church Fam!

As a Family Ministries team, we want your kids to not only come and learn about Jesus on the weekend, but for each family to grow together in their relationship with Jesus. We hope that you find this email helpful in providing you the information you need to take what is learned on the weekend into the home!   – Pastor Brad Elias

Early Years

Key Truth: God is always with us and loves us – even when we make mistakes!
Bible Passage: Genesis 28
Story: Jacob’s Dream

Action Steps for Parents:

  1. Recap the story with your child. What can they remember?

Please pray: Early Years would continue to grow to be a place where volunteers and children have fun and find belonging!

Kids Church

Key Truth: We can always trust God!
Bible Passage: Genesis 28
Story: Jacob’s Dream

Action Steps for Parents:

  1. Recap the story with your child. What can they remember?

Please Pray: Please pray for continued safety, joy, and belonging to grow among kids and volunteers.

Middle School

Key Truth: Stick out and stand up for your Christian convictions!
Bible Passage: John 15:18-19; Daniel 2
Story: Different is Good (Daniel and Nebuchadnezzar)

Action Steps for Parents:

  1. At midweek this Wednesday, we will be discussing gender and sexuality: what does the culture say and what does the Bible say? Start this conversation with your child. (See questions from Pastor Caleb’s parent email.)
  2. This weekend, we talked about sticking out and standing up for our Christian faith. One of the areas that the Bible and our culture are often opposed on is the origin and the value of life (i.e. abortion and euthanasia)

Please Pray: Pray for wisdom for out leaders and soft hearts for our students as we dive into the topic of gender and sexuality this Wednesday at midweek. Pray that God’s design for His creation would be so obvious and beautiful!

High School

Action Steps for Parents: LTA sign-ups are open! If this is something that interests your student, be sure to sign them up!

Please pray: Pray for our Morning Devotions at the SRSS, that students would feel accepted, loved and heard.

Feel free to reach out with any questions about how you can be more connected!
